Thunderbox – Power Distributor for Accessories. Tired of doing makeshift electrical installations on your motorcycle? We have the solution. The Thunderbox is an electronic box designed to connect directly to the battery's positive terminal and charge or power 5 or 10 different devices (depending on the 16A or 32A version) ONLY when the vehicle is running. Yes, you read that right, this device acts as an electronic relay, operating only when the motorcycle is running. Being electronic, it also self-manages overloads and cuts power like a fuse if it detects any fault. There are two Thunderbox models: the 16 Amp version with 5 power outlets and the 32 Amp version with 10 power outlets.

Features

• Isolate accessories from the battery when the engine is off.
• It supplies power to the accessories automatically* when the engine is started or when the ignition is switched on.
  *Please note that in some vehicles activation Automatic could not work properlyIn these cases, the white wire must be connected to a switched power source, such as a position or license plate light, for example.
• It protects the electrical system from any short circuits or current spikes in any connected accessory.
• It uses electronic "fuses" that never require replacement.
• It does not need to be programmed.

Installation

• Red – Battery Positive +12v
• Black – Battery ground or negative 0V
• White – Optional. Connect to a switched positive (ignition-switched) wire to enable accessories with the ignition. If the white wire is not connected, the accessories will activate when the engine starts.
• Green – Accessory output +12v
• Black – Accessory output 0v (negative, ground)

Our opinion

Honestly, we only recently discovered this product and we already love it. With the Thunderbox, you don't need extensive electrical knowledge, just the basics to connect it. Its main advantage for us is the savings in cable, space, and weight on the motorcycle. It's highly recommended for installing accessories such as heated grips, USB socketA car charger, auxiliary lights, or whatever else you can think of. This single, very small unit saves you from installing a fuse box, a relay, a lot of wire, soldering, and electrical tape.
