Lithium battery JMT JMT14B-FP weighs only 900 grams. New modern and high-tech design for your motorcycle. Replaces the HJTZ10S-FP battery.

Spacer

The battery is equipped with one or more spacers that are glued under the battery or to the side with a supplied adhesive strip so that the battery fits exactly into the battery box.

Raincoat

The battery is completely waterproof and It will not be damaged if the motorcycle is cleaned with high pressure.

Indicator

All batteries are equipped with a battery status indicator. Simply press the test button. The red digital display will show you the current voltage. The battery should be charged at the latest when the voltage is below 12,9 V. Replacing a standard lead-acid battery with a JMT lithium-ion battery can save up to 5 kg of weight without any significant effort.

Due to their specific properties, lead-acid batteries can only use 30% of their capacity, while lithium-ion batteries can use almost 100% of their capacity.

For this reason, lithium versions of JMT batteries require only 1/3 the capacity of a comparable lead-acid battery for the same starting power.
An integrated processor ("balancer") also ensures an even state of charge for all cells.
The dimensions of the lithium-ion batteries correspond to those of the original lead-acid batteries with the help of adapters.
The connections are also identical, so the battery can be replaced in just a few minutes without any further adjustments.

Please note that only suitable chargers may be used for charging. Please refer to the technical data below for the maximum recommended charging currents.
It is not allowed to use a charger with a voltage higher than 14,9 V to charge a deeply discharged battery with less than 9,6 V.

The manufacturer guarantees a sufficient starting capacity down to -5 degrees Celsius.

Technology

JMT lithium-ion batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and employ the lithium polymer process in their manufacture. This means that They cannot burn or explode during normal operation. The technology and manufacturing process guarantee the highest safety standards for lithium batteries.

Our opinion

We have been using the JMT range of lithium batteries for several years now and we can say that they have good results and excellent value for money. All models incorporate a button with real charge status so that you know with just one press how your battery is. Its main advantages are its ridiculous weight and ability to be loaded and unloaded many times without being damaged. Exactly the same as a smartphone battery. It is very important that if you have to charge it you use the right charger.
