F1514SR Newfren Performance Clutch Kit for Husqvarna 701 / KTM 690 / Gas Gas 700. The Performance range has been designed for intensive road use, but also for sports use to withstand high demands and deliver top-level performance. The friction material used in the oil-bath clutch drive discs is Paper Carbon. The driven discs (separators) are made of a special steel that ensures maximum strength and absence of deformation. If you notice that the clutch on your LC4 engine is starting to slip, it's time to install a quality system. With these discs, you'll improve your motorcycle's performance. These discs are recommended if you ride long distances. This material is more resistant than the original. They withstand more friction and fatigue much less.

Our opinion

Newfren is another great alternative to OEM material if you're looking for quality and performance. The Performance range guarantees great performance to prevent fatigue when you need it most. If you're going to change them yourself, we recommend you educate yourself on how to do it before you begin. Remember that on some motorcycles, some discs may be a different size than the rest, and you'll need to carefully consider where and how they fit, as well as the thickness of the washers. Don't forget to soak the discs in oil for at least 2 hours (preferably 24 hours) before installing them. And of course, check the entire assembly for wear during disassembly and follow the manufacturer's tightening torques. Viejos Pistones Adventure Motorcycles recommends always using the grade and type of oil indicated by the manufacturer, as well as replacing the oil filter and the engine cover gasket.
