Our opinion

It appears that some Kove 800 units may not have a proper airbox seal. This is not a confirmed fact, but rather a hypothesis. However, there have been some cases of engine damage due to a possible airbox leak. Obviously, the models most likely to be affected are those used for off-road purposes. This type of failure is less common in road use. With Kove 800 foam pre-filters, we protect our motorcycle by filtering the air entering the engine through the snorkel, thus ensuring complete protection. These pre-filters are sold in sets of two. They come dry; you only need to oil them with filter oil and install them in the snorkels. Installation and cleaning are very simple. 100% recommended product.
