If you're looking for a lightweight, compact tent for camping trips that's freestanding and incredibly easy to set up, the Ferrino LIGHTENT 1 PRO TENT is undoubtedly the best choice. Keep in mind that this is a super-compact single-person tent where spaciousness isn't its strongest point (as with all tunnel tents), since you can't sit inside. It's designed for quick and easy setup and takedown, and its size and weight are among the smallest on the market. The tent features internal side pockets and a space between the tent and the rainfly for storing a backpack, boots, etc. Thanks to its low profile, the tent is very aerodynamic and can be pitched perfectly even in strong winds. The quality of the pegs and poles is exceptional. It's a great compact tent and the one we chose for our solo adventure trips.
