Open fork cartridge Yamaha Tenere 700 T7 Tractive. The Open-Cartridge system was specifically developed to offer Tenere 700 owners a more affordable option to address the shortcomings of the OEM fork components. Offering a significant improvement in overall performance, with or without luggage, this fork upgrade kit is ideal for those riders embarking on overland tours, with frequent and significant changes in [luggage] load and off-road riding conditions. Supplied as a direct replacement for the OEM internal components, this kit retains the original 200mm travel length and corresponding seat height. Our unique open cartridge upgrade was designed and developed in conjunction with TracTive Suspension in the Netherlands and offers a significant improvement in overall performance compared to OEM components. It has the same 200mm travel as the OEM fork, but with much higher performance and fit.

Choice of 3 spring rates depending on the rider's weight:

• 5,6Nm. (up to 75 kg of pilot).
• 6,0Nm. (75 kg-95 kg of pilot).
• 6.4 Nm. (more than 95 kg of pilot).

Cfeatures :

• Fully adjustable for fork spring preload, compression and rebound control.
• Our replacement billet fork caps feature spring preload adjustment up to 11mm.

• 35mm piston to improve oil flow, damping performance, feel and response.
• Supplied with linear wishbone springs in a variety of ratios to suit rider weight.

• PDS check valve circuit to improve damping progression towards the end of the stroke.

• Hard anodized (external) and stainless steel (internal) CNC machined aluminum component construction for durability.

 

Utilizing a large bore 35mm diameter cartridge and piston (instead of the OEM 20mm diameter), this allows for much larger diameter shims, providing 270% more surface area and a much higher feel. more progressive and controlled due to increased oil flow.

 

Supplied with a pair of linear coil springs in a choice of three different speeds, along with CNC machined plastic spring guides (incorporating our own PDS/check valve design) and our aluminum piston/cartridge tubes 35mm heavy duty hard anodized. Complete with our own designed billet aluminum adjustable preload fork caps.

 

The kit comes ready to ride* and includes a pair of special wrenches (for mounting the fork caps and adjusting the spring preload) and 1 liter of Motorex 5W Low Friction Racing fork oil.

The wide range of loading conditions, from soft tail bags to boxed luggage system and/or passenger, will be compensated for by adjustment ranges for spring preload, rebound and compression level. The cartridge is fully adjustable from the top, both for compression and rebound damping, and spring preload.

You will experience a completely new driving sensation with your motorcycle.

The basic configuration suits the demanding adventure pilot with or without luggage or passenger.

They are ideal to combine with the Tractive rear shock absorber.
