Quick closing fuel cap Gas Gas ES700 / SM700. Designed by Nomad-Adv, in machined and anodized aluminium.The GasGas ES700 fuel filler cap is notorious for breaking keys which is not only costly but also leaves you stranded as you are unable to open the cap to fill the tank or start the motorcycle since the ignition key is broken. But even if the key doesn't break, the OEM cap's design means dirt and dust can get into the fuel tank when you open the cap. At best, the dirt will only clog the fuel filter or damage the fuel pump and block the injector.

On the GasGas ES700 the seat release cable is located under the fuel cap, with our Billet fuel cap we provide a new seat release cable to move the cable forward to the midpoint of the bike, so that can be easily reached without removing the fuel cap.

Our opinion

Perhaps for those of you who use the motorcycle in mixed road / country use or even those who use it a lot in the city, it is not the most correct accessory. But for all those who only use it for adventure, this accessory is undoubtedly appreciated. Many of you have called us commenting that the key to the gas cap has broken or that it is going very hard. All these failures are due to dirt getting into the stopper lock.
