The RAM Spring-Loaded Quick Release Base ^® Tab Tite ^™ Offers a secure fit with easy access to the mounted tablet. The interchangeable cup ends are designed specifically for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Tab S 8.4 with an Otterbox Defender case. The spring-loaded design makes it easy to insert and remove the tablet, while also keeping it secure in mobile applications. The custom ends are designed to optimize the functionality of your tablet, allowing access to all ports and functions of the tablet. The included backplate is interchangeable with support cups of various sizes, making it Compatible with numerous tablet models. The new removable support cups are the only components required for purchase; Attach them to the backplate to support your new tablet. A set of four nuts and bolts is included to connect the base to any component or RAM bracket that contains the universal AMP hole pattern. For off-road environments and extreme use, we recommend the use of a strap to help retain your device. Our opinion

This mount offers a perfect balance between quality and price. It's sturdy yet simple. This entry-level product is recommended for use in cars or motorcycles. It's ideal for using your tablet outdoors as a GPS, roadbook, or as an ICO/roadbook odometer. Its clamps will prevent the device from slipping off the mount when used on paved surfaces. It's compatible with RAM ball mounts and Garmin AMPS mounting systems, among others. If you plan on using it for very demanding off-road applications, we recommend contacting us so we can suggest more suitable options.

TECHNICAL TRICK

If you want a stand for occasional use without spending too much money, we recommend this model and cutting two holes in the lugs that "catch" the tablet. You can then attach two plastic cable ties to these holes and secure them together. This way, you'll ensure the stand doesn't open while you're off-roading, prevent your tablet from falling, and prevent it from being easily knocked off.
