Husqvarna 701 / KTM 690 tank subframe bolts. Made in CNC machined stainless steel. This is a unique new design using an M8 high tensile head bolt from the inside with our own design and a race proven stainless steel bolt from the outside. Retains the M6 ​​threaded hole on the outside to connect the side panel OEM. It is stronger and simpler than the original. Uses a standard rear wheel hex nut wrench size (27mm A/F). Supplied as a 2 piece set (1 per side). 

Fits all years KTM 690 Enduro/SMC and Husqvarna 701 Enduro/SMC.

Our opinion

As you already know, in these models, the rear tank acts as a subframe and is in charge of supporting the rider's weight, whether in calm or extreme driving, as well as luggage and/or passenger. This causes the bolts that fix them to be subjected to a lot of tension and over time and water they rust, stick or break. These Husqvarna 701 / KTM 690 tank subframe bolts, which apparently seem simple and unnecessary, have been tested in extreme situations since the originals on several occasions have shown that they have not been up to the task. Sometimes they break and sometimes they rust and get stuck and then you have to break them to remove them. With these new screws it will never happen to you again.
