Installation

The idea of the entire procedure is to gain access to the gear position sensor connectors. Disconnect them and connect the Smart TRE between the connectors.

The ignition must be OFF during the entire procedure.
Remove the front seat and raise and support the fuel tank.
Locate the gear position sensor connection. The sensor connection is a 3-way white connection with black/blue/pink wires. You can find it on all Suzuki models under the fuel tank on the left side.
Disconnect the connection by pressing the tab on the female side.
Connect each connector by lining up the connector tabs on the bike with the Smart TRE connectors.
Put the fuel tank and front seat back into place.

Torque limitation suppressor Smart TRE ATRE Suzuki STR-001. Most of the latest Suzuki models come with a retarded ignition timing on the first 4 gears. Suzuki adopts this restriction to limit the torque available at low speeds for safety.

The Smart TRE ATRE Suzuki STR-001 Torque Limiter Suppressor bypasses the ignition timing retard applied in Suzuki models and delivers the optimal map in all gears for maximum and improved performance.

SmartMoto has created this new version of the popular TRE mod that is smart and does not affect the Neutral map, while giving the unrestricted 5th gear signal when any other gear is selected.
