Lowering kit KTM 1290 Super Adventure R

KTM 1290 Super Adventure R lowering kit. With this kit you will reduce the height of your motorcycle by 25mm on models from 2017 to 2020 and 35mm on models from 2021. A special tool is required for placement. We recommend carrying out this operation in a workshop. The piece itself is a base to exchange the support that is anchored to the base of the stem and acts as a spring stop. This piece makes the spring more relaxed and thereby reduces the height.

The -25mm option for the 2017-2020 model is also compatible with the following models:

• KTM 990 Supermoto R 2009- low -10 mm
• KTM 990 Super Duke / R 2005- low -25 mm
• KTM 990 SM-T / 990 SM-R 2011- low -35 mm
• KTM 1050 Adventure 2015- low -30 mm
• KTM 1090 Adventure 2017- low -30 mm
• KTM 1090 Adventure R 2017- low -30 mm
• KTM 1190 Adventure R ABS 2013- low -30 mm

The -35mm option for the 2021 model is also compatible with the following models:

• KTM 890 Adventure 2020- low -30 mm
• Husqvarna 901 Norden 2022- low -35 mm

Our opinion

It is a valid reversible option to reduce the height of this model since it does not have tie rods. The manufacturer indicates that the shock absorber does not lose its properties. Always remember to raise the forks above the seatpost to compensate for height and respect the geometry of the bike.
