ZF Sprockets KTM crown. ZF sprockets are among the highest quality and most technologically advanced sprockets in the world.

The secret is based on the connection of the resistance of steel and the lightness of duralumin. This aluminum alloy is characterized by enormous strength and rigidity, as well as light weight. The tensile strength is approximately 11 times that of pure aluminum. Therefore, hardened duralumin almost reaches the strength of steel. For this reason, one material implements the other and they become a piece of low weight but great durability.

ZF crowns are characterized by a notch at the base of each tooth that guarantees optimal self-cleaning.
These millings ensure that the dirt does not remain on the skirt of the tooth, but is dragged downwards by the chain pin itself and is evacuated through the groove. In this way, the wear on the crown and the chain becomes much less than a standard crown.

The durability of bicomponent sprockets ZF they are approximately three times more than pure aluminum crowns and are 50% lighter than steel crowns. Ideal for both road and off road.
