AMPS navigation bracket for 12-16mm bar

AMPS navigation mount for 12-16mm bars. Made from CNC-machined aluminum with a black anodized finish. This mounting mechanism attaches to a single bar between 12 and 16mm in diameter, allowing you to install a GPS, roadbook, or mapboard directly onto the crossbar of your handlebars or any other bar on your motorcycle. Compatible with mounting bases. Garmin and Tom Tom.

There's a reason rally drivers use navigation towers. Not only do they need a place to mount a myriad of electronic gadgets…they need it to be mounted as high up as possible. The last thing you want to do while traveling fast over open terrain (or at any speed over rough terrain) is take your eyes off the track.

With this system, your navigator will be mounted as high as possible to allow you, with a simple downward movement of your eyes, to check your route while keeping your peripheral vision on the road ahead. The lower you mount your navigator, the more likely you are to search for the information you need for longer, taking your attention away from the track. And this is bad!
